Who else isn't performing?

Okay, so everyone knows that Guzman defines suckitude. But as I mentioned earlier, he was only one of the hitters who couldn't manage a hit at all last night. In fact, anyone hitting lower than fourth in the lineup didn't hit.

So Wilson and Schneider haven't looked too great the past few games. It's safe to say that Preston Wilson is underperforming by the standard of his last season, but only an idiot would expect him to be performing at that level right now. Schneider's average still hovers in the .270s.

And then there's Vinny Castilla, who is hitless in his last 19 at-bats.


Incidentally, this guy is making $3 million this year. "Veteran presence," blah, blah, blah.
